TWO MUSICAL EVENTS DURING

TAYLORS FALLS LIGHTING FESTIVAL

            Choral Vespers and an orchestra concert happen Saturday and Sunday during Taylors Falls Lighting Festival.  Both will be held at the 1861 United Methodist Church, 290 W. Government Street. Donations welcome.

            The 32nd annual Choral Vespers will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, November 30. The public is invited to this ecumenical service.  Vespers is not only a tradition, but is considered by many to be the centerpiece of the festival. Come sing familiar carols and hear new selections by a community-wide chorus under the direction of Tyler Olson and pianist Gail Meister.

Before and following Vespers there will be baked goods for sale.  Enjoy a SloppyJoe lunch with a complimentary cup of coffee.

            St. Croix Valley Orchestra will perform its winter concert at 3 PM on Sunday, December 1.  The acoustics in this historic church let the audience hear music at its finest.
