Worship Service: Sunday mornings ~ 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Praise Service is regularly every 3rd Sunday of the month. Due to Holy week in March we will conduct the praise portion of our regular service the second Sunday, March 13, 2016. Don't forget this is day-light savings, so set your clocks ahead 1 hour Saturday March 12, 2016.
Holy Week Services
Jesus' last week of his life on earth is called Passion or Holy Week. Holy Week begins with Christ riding into Jerusalem on a donkey - celebrated as Palm Sunday and journeys with him through his death on the cross on Good Friday to his resurrection from the dead on Easter Sunday. Join us for services on: March 27, 2016
Maundy Thursday, 7:30 p.m.
March 24, 2016: Celebration of the Lord's Supper followed by the Tennebrae Service
Good Friday, 7:00 p.m.
March 25, 2016: Community Good Friday Service at Taylors Falls Baptist Church.
Holy Saturday, March 26 - 4:00 p.m. "Holy Hands" Puppet Ministry - Taylors Falls UMC
The Holy Hands Puppet Ministry presents: "Son Rise". Everyone is invited to join us for the Easter Story as told through our Puppet Ministry team. The story time will be followed by an Easter Egg Hunt on the lawn of the Folsom House. We invite you to be part of our church family! During the Sunday morning service, nursery care is available every Sunday. Sunday School meets during the morning service, from September through May for children, ages 3 years old to 6th grade. Bible studies, special gatherings, and upcoming events are available on the News and Events page. For resources such as church newsletters, United Methodist Church updates, or to download sermons by Pastor Rollie Robinson, see the Ministry Resources page.
Renovations completed on historic church
Over this past summer and fall, additional projects were completed both on the exterior and interior of this historic building. We appreciate the opportunity to come together with fellow believers to worship and praise God in this place. Thank you to all who donated funds and worked on completing the projects - restoring the church steeple, painting, furnace replacement, and roof repairs. We appreciate the generous gifts and the sharing of talents - all for the glory of God!
